Dr Eliza Filby is a contemporary historian and generations expert, and the author of the Sunday Times bestselling book Inheritocracy. She advises organisations around the world through All Relative, her research and advisory practice exploring shifts in work, wealth and values.

She writes for The Times on money and wealth, and for City AM on the future of work, and is the creator and host of It’s All Relative - a cross-platform series spanning YouTube and Substack.

Dr Eliza Filby is a historian, bestselling author and generations expert, internationally recognised for her analysis of how generational change is reshaping work, wealth and modern life. She earned her a PhD from the University of Warwick and has taught at King’s College London and Renmin University in Beijing. She has lectured across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, including as a guest lecturer at Harvard Law School.

Her latest book, Inheritocracy, became a Sunday Times Top 10 bestseller, sparking wide-ranging debate about family wealth, opportunity and inequality. She is also the founder of All Relative, her research and advisory practice helping organisations understand the cultural, demographic and generational forces transforming their people, clients and markets worldwide.
